They did shows there until the spring of 1970, at least through infamous under-attended Iggy Pop/Alice Cooper/Groovies/Commander Cody shows. https://datebook.sfchronicle.com/entertainment/roy-loney-dynamic-frontman-for-sfs-flamin-groovies-dies-at-73Jessehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08985467102325218695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5493557313410969282.post-82454638891549409172010-03-11T15:35:35.808-08:002010-03-11T15:35:35.808-08:00I ran lights, old liquid light shows, for bands li...I ran lights, old liquid light shows, for bands like Osceola in those days. I lived at 346 lyon St, right off the PanHandle, and when I was not singing or playing myself, I was doing light shows.OnyxKnytehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01037577967532163157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5493557313410969282.post-51300066961755113082009-10-12T20:38:01.903-07:002009-10-12T20:38:01.903-07:00There are a number of Old Fillmore shows running f...There are a number of Old Fillmore shows running from around the early summer of 1969 on that have similar style posters (which appear to be done by Cab Covay), but only one has a "presented by" notation. That is Grass Roots Productions for a show featuring Charles LLoyd, Shades of Joy and Red Beans & Rice. They lived and rehearsed in Felton in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Stevenson played guitar and sang, leaving the drum chores to Oxendine. He in turn was replaced by, I believe, Dale Ockerman.

Do we have any idea who the promoters of the late 1969 "New Old Fillmore" might have been?Corry342https://www.blogger.com/profile/08049035074121231425noreply@blogger.com
